We’re hiring a Recruitment Manager to establish and grow a Risk-focused search practice at Thurn Partners.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a new business area within a high-performing executive search firm that partners exclusively with elite hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and alternative investment managers across the globe.
Whether you're an experienced billing manager or a top individual contributor ready to take that next leadership step, you'll have the autonomy, client access, and strategic backing to shape a high-impact team and leave a lasting commercial legacy.
The role unveiled
As Recruitment Manager, you will:
- Launch and lead a dedicated Risk recruitment practice from the ground up.
- Own the strategy: define your market, shape client solutions, and develop a long-term growth plan.
- Partner directly with senior stakeholders at world-leading hedge funds and investment firms.
- Build and manage a team of high-performing recruiters as the practice scales.
- Drive end-to-end delivery across business development, candidate search, and client execution.
What We’re Looking For
- Executive search or recruitment experience within financial services – Risk, Investment Management, Quantitative Finance, or related verticals preferred.
- A proven track record of business development, client partnership, and candidate delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or a clear ambition to step into a managerial role with confidence.
- Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive long-term business growth.
- Professionalism, client-focus, and a passion for building something of your own.

How We Work
Our office is based in London, and we value face-to-face collaboration. Most of the team works from the office 4–5 days a week, with Work-from-Home Wednesdays post-probation and flexibility for travel or personal matters.
