Senior Recruitment Consultant (Team Lead)

We’re hiring a Recruitment Team Lead to launch and scale a new team at Thurn Partners. 

This is an opportunity to own a new market vertical within a high-performing search firm that exclusively partners with elite hedge funds, trading firms, and alternative investment managers globally.  

Whether you’re an experienced billing manager or a top-performing consultant, this is your chance to shape something of your own, with autonomy, senior client access, and strong leadership backing to shape a team and make a lasting commercial impact.

The role unveiled  

  • Launch and grow a specialised recruitment practice from the ground up. 
  • Partner with clients across global hedge funds and investment firms, advising on talent strategy and delivering top-tier candidates. 
  • Build and lead a team of specialist recruiters as the practice scales. 
  • Own your market - lead candidate generation, business development, and client delivery in a high-performance environment. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Executive search or recruitment experience, ideally in financial services, risk, or alternative investments. 
  • A strong business development, candidate delivery, and client management track record. 
  • Either proven team leadership experience or the readiness to step into a leadership role with confidence and support. 
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to build a market presence, develop a team, and drive long-term growth. 
  • A high standard of professionalism, commerciality, and client focus.

How We Work
 

Our office is based in London, and we value face-to-face collaboration. Most of the team works from the office 4–5 days a week, with Work-from-Home Wednesdays post-probation and flexibility for travel or personal matters.
