What You Will Do
As Head of FP&A, you will lead our financial planning, analysis, and control activities, partnering with business leaders to provide actionable insights, improve financial performance, and support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly controlling activities, including:
- Revenue, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Personnel expenses
- Variance analysis to budget, prior year, and other comparatives
- Required inputs for external reporting
- Act as a Business Partner for Business Unit and Cost Centre owners.
- Lead preparation and management of budgeting and planning processes.
- Develop and improve financial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare material sections of the monthly financial reporting packages.
- Provide input into the annual audit process, including planning for impairment testing.
- Manage initiatives to improve financial efficiency, including proposals to optimize the cost base.
- Collaborate closely with the Data and Revenue Operations teams to optimize reporting and contribute to the data reporting roadmap.
You will be great for this position if you have
- 8–12 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, controlling, or related finance leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CFA or an accounting qualification is a plus.
- Strong track record of partnering with business leaders and driving performance improvement.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- In-depth understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Experience managing or improving financial efficiency within a fast-paced, international environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to work onsite in Berlin.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools is a plus.
