What You Will Do
In the role as (MBA) Intern (f/m/d) you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, and there will be (almost) no typical day during your time at think-cell. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Academics in Strategy & Corporate Development, you will be a contributor to key commercial and academic projects. One of your main responsibilities will be to take ownership of a high-priority project: expanding and developing think-cell’s academic program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-organize two Case Competitions: You will take full ownership of a key growth initiative for think-cell – the academic program. We are planning to run two international case competitions with top-tier academic institutions in Q3/Q4 2025. This involves intense project and partnership management, end-to-end ownership, and high visibility with senior management.
- Analyze data and derive strategies: Conduct research and data analysis on market trends, competitive strategies, and areas for improvement to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate across think-cell: Work with multiple departments to manage and drive key projects forward.
- Get your hands dirty: We’re a ‘speedboat’ within think-cell — fast-moving, flexible, and hands-on. Priorities shift quickly, and everyone pitches in to make our programs successful.
- Work closely with a small team: You’ll work directly with the Head of Partnerships & Academics and our Partnership Managers in the US, EMEA, and APAC to drive strategic and operational priorities and ensure program success.
You will be great for this position if you have
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, computer science, or other related fields
- Currently pursuing an MBA degree or a Master’s degree is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work at least 3 days per week from our headquarters in Berlin
- 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a high-performance environment (e.g. management consulting, investment banking, PE, or VC-owned portfolio companies).
- A keen interest in technology, software, and innovation
- Experience working with think-cell is a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, (German is a plus)
- Work authorization in Germany - No visa sponsorship is available for the role
