About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Merchandiser to join our growing Merchandising team, supporting global clients across inbound stock planning, forecasting and warehouse operations.

You will take ownership of planning and stock management for your accounts, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure optimal stock flow, availability, and warehouse efficiency. This is a fast-paced, data-led role requiring strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management, and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning forecasting and WSSI planning, including SKU-level forecasts, inbound requirements and forward stock holding
  • Leading replenishment planning to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise lost sales
  • Managing inbound planning, phasing and product mix in line with client requirements
  • Overseeing purchase order creation, inbound bookings, and delivery performance to ensure stock is received accurately and on time
  • Monitoring inbound performance (e.g. OTIF) and resolving any issues impacting stock flow or availability
  • Producing and analysing reports on availability, stock performance, and potential lost sales opportunities
  • Managing aged and slow-moving stock, identifying risks and working with clients to reduce exposure
  • Providing insight through performance reporting (e.g. best/worst sellers, operational metrics, stock efficiency)
  • Building and managing strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for merchandising activity
  • Collaborating with internal teams (warehouse, operations, account teams) to ensure smooth execution of stock processes
  • Supporting and guiding Assistant Merchandisers, helping to prioritise workload and support development

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ merchandising experience in a retail, eCommerce, or supply chain environment
  • Proven experience owning forecasting, WSSI, and stock planning processes
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience managing inbound logistics, stock flow, and replenishment planning
  • Confident stakeholder manager with experience working directly with clients or suppliers
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
