We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Public Sales Team. As a BDM, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships, from prospecting clients to close. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver against revenue targets and KPIs in line with company strategy

Develop new revenue-generating opportunities through a number of strategies

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

Take responsibility for effective revenue forecasting for leads and pipeline

Set up meetings and own entire sales cycle from lead generation to close

Ability to confidently pitch Fluently offering to senior stakeholders client-side

Ability effectively communicate Fluently’ s services and products and showcase value to clients

Contribute to developing sales reports for the Leadership team

Provide Sales and Leadership teams with industry insights and regular updates on overall progress on sales campaigns

Build and foster a partnership with clients, assist with effective onboarding and collaborate with clients for continuous improvement

Adhere to ISO requirements with regards to responsiveness with clients and overall business processes

Champion a revenue growth mentality across Fluently

Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when overcoming obstacles

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of public sector frameworks

• Experience implementing and managing national/local Public Sector clients with a specific focus on interpreting

• Experience collaborating with bid writers on successful tenders and RFPs

• Previous experience working in an operational role in a booking coordination team desirable but not essential

• Proven experience of meeting and exceeding contractual KPIs

• Proven experience of growing existing accounts through proactive account management and client engagement initiatives

• Negotiation skills

• Ability to identify contractual risks and proposing mitigation strategies

• Knowledge of current regulations, trends and procurement laws within the Public Sector

• Experience designing bespoke reports for clients

• Experience conducting monthly and quarterly reviews with key accounts
