Fluently is part of the THG Ingenuity family. It provides a range of language services, including translation, interpreting, localisation, voice-overs, transcription, and multilingual search engine optimisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate end-to-end interpreting projects:

  • Collaborate with clients to define the project scope, including the languages involved, the interpreting modes required (simultaneous, consecutive, whispered, RSI), and the expected outcomes
  • Identify and secure qualified interpreters, considering factors such as subject matter expertise, professional certification, and cultural awareness
  • Schedule interpreters effectively, including time zone coordination and team rotations
  • Budgeting and resource allocation
  • Logistics management, including interpreting equipment or RSI platform support
  • Ensure effective client communication
  • Build and maintain relationships with interpreters and clients
  • Support the Sales team from an operational perspective to deliver a seamless service to prospects and clients, including project planning and costing
  • Use project management and interpreting management software
  • Offer advice, troubleshoot, and act as subject matter expert on your team
  • Coordinate interpreting bookings in compliance with client’s ISO quality management system
  • Meet fulfilment KPIs and personal targets
  • Ensure administration tasks are up to date

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in private sector interpreting project coordination or project management
  • Prior experience working directly with interpreters or managing live interpreting assignments
  • Language studies or knowledge of more than one language is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to perform under pressure when managing high volumes and tight deadlines
  • Competence in using industry-specific tools and productivity technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly (e.g., interpreting booking platforms, RSI platforms, project management tools)
  • Familiarity with interpreting modes (simultaneous, consecutive, whispered, RSI) and technical requirements (AV, booths, headsets)
  • Proven competence in project planning, resource and risk management, and real-time troubleshooting during events
  • Friendly and credible personality who inspires trust in clients, interpreters, and partners
