About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Senior Lead Creative to join our team on a fixed-term contract (6-12 months). 

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in packaging design, print processes, and materials, with a proven track record of working on major consumer brands. You will play a key role in quality assurance, brand alignment, and ensuring creative briefs are strategically sound and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead bold, category-defining packaging design across Myprotein’s growing product universe.
  • Concept and craft ideas that don’t just look good—they feel groundbreaking.
  • Push the limits of what’s possible with print, structure, materials, and tech.
  • Turn emerging trends and consumer insights into packaging that speaks (and shouts) to our audience.
  • Work hand-in-hand with product, supply chain, brand, and global print partners to make your vision a reality.

Creative Quality Control & Brand Alignment

  • Serve as the lead QC for all packaging creative, ensuring assets are on-brand, print-ready, and meet quality standards.
  • Approve creative briefs, ensuring they are clear, actionable, and aligned with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Brand Creative Director on packaging-specific QC tasks to ensure brand protection and consistency.

Creative & Strategic Support for NPD & Packaging Teams

  • Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD) teams, ensuring briefs are fit for purpose and optimised for execution.
  • Guide and support the packaging creative team with constructive and strategic creative feedback, raising the overall standard of work.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for packaging best practices, ensuring designs are both creatively excellent and commercially viable.

Process Improvement & Efficiency Gains

  • Enhance turnaround times for packaging creative, streamlining the approval process and removing bottlenecks.
  • Help free up capacity within the Creative Director’s remit, enabling the team to increase efficiency and throughput.
  • Ensure packaging creative is optimised for print production, material constraints, and sustainability considerations.
  • Working with Project Management to support delivery of projects on time and budget.
