Studio Manager
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
The Social Hub is expanding its ecosystem, and our Creative Studio needs an operational backbone to keep our big ideas moving seamlessly from concept to delivery. As our Studio Manager in Amsterdam, you will be the operational heart of our in-house team, bringing clarity, structure, and smart planning to everything we build. You will work closely with our Head of Graphic Design and team up across Marketing, Interior Design, and Operations to keep priorities aligned and protect creative focus. We are offering you the space to shape our operating model and elevate how our studio functions as we grow. Expect a culture that values collaboration, room to innovate, and colleagues who genuinely love what they do. If you know how to build scalable processes without slowing creative magic down, we would love to meet you.
In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are
Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the intake, scheduling, and prioritization of creative requests across physical, digital, and experiential touchpoints.
- Map out project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively remove roadblocks before they slow things down.
- Coordinate workloads and capacity planning so designers can focus on making outstanding work.
- Build and optimize slick workflows, tools, and project management processes that scale.
- Act as the primary operational connector between the design team and brand, marketing, or operations partners.
- Keep briefs sharp, clear, and ready before any design work kicks off.
- Track studio performance and find smart opportunities to continuously polish how we work.
What You’ll Have
- You bring 5 to 8 years of experience in studio management, traffic management, or creative operations within an agency or in-house team.
- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management, Creative Business, or Project Management (a PM certification is a nice bonus).
- You bring hands-on experience with project management platforms like Asana, Monday.com, or Jira.
- You have a proven track record of managing multiple creative projects at once while staying calm under pressure.
- You bring full proficiency in English, while Dutch skills are a welcome bonus.
- You have a talent for balancing operational efficiency with creative flexibility.
- You bring experience in hospitality, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands (a plus, but not required).
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future
- The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact, collaborating with organizations like Movement on the Ground and the TSH Talent Foundation to create meaningful change
- The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth
- Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
- A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff
At The Social Hub, we believe pay should be fair and consistent. That's why we carefully determine your starting salary based on the role, your assessed proficiency, and our salary framework. We make our best and fairest offer upfront, so we don't negotiate salaries. Because fairness shouldn’t depend on who negotiates best.
Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
