Treasurer (gn)

We are looking for a Treasurer (gn) to join our Finance team. As a Treasurer (gn) you take ownership of our day-to-day treasury operations and ensure smooth and reliable cash and FX management across currencies, platforms, and accounts. You actively contribute to the stability and efficiency of our financial processes and collaborate closely with banks, PSPs, and internal teams.

This position is located in Hamburg with a flexible Homeoffice policy.

Your mission

• You bring a hands-on approach to monitoring daily cash positions and maintaining optimal liquidity
• You create and update short- and mid-term cash flow forecasts
• You handle FX transactions and execute hedging activities with accuracy and care
• You coordinate and process payment transactions and intercompany flows
• You manage relationships with banks and payment service providers like PayPal, Klarna, Shopify, Amazon, or bol.com
• You ensure KYC/AML documentation is complete and up to date
• You contribute to projects such as receivables financing and treasury process optimization
• You maintain and enhance treasury tools and Excel-based models

 

 

Your experience & skills 

• You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, or a completed banking apprenticeship
• You bring several years of experience in Treasury, Risk Controlling, or Corporate Finance, ideally in an international eCommerce environment
• You know how to work confidently with cash management, FX trading and online banking platforms 
• You are structured, organized, and analytically strong, with a clear focus on accuracy and efficiency
• You bring a solution-oriented mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
• You are a team player with a high level of ownership and initiative
• You are comfortable MS Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint
• You are fluent in English (German is a plus, but not required)
