Flagship Store Manager - Regent Street
OVERVIEW:
As the Flagship Store Manager, you lead Gymshark's most high-profile retail space - the benchmark for excellence across our global estate. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with frequent senior stakeholder and CEO visits, ensuring standards, service and execution are consistently world-class. Acting as the hub for central launched projects and communication rollouts, you guide your team to deliver exceptional performance, flawless operations and a truly standout Gymshark experience every day.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Leading the flagship in delivering a consistently world‑class, community‑first Gymshark experience
- Setting and upholding exemplary service standards across all departments, acting as a brand ambassador
- Managing complex service recovery and escalations with fair, timely and professional resolution
- Leading, coaching and developing the store leadership team, building capable and confident managers
- Owning all performance management processes including reviews, investigations and development plans
- Driving long‑term talent pipelining, recruiting and selecting values‑aligned future leaders
- Accountability for sales performance, KPIs, payroll and overall P&L health of the flagship
- Setting the commercial tempo, making high‑impact, insight‑driven decisions that influence results
- Overseeing all stock accuracy, shrink control, stock‑take execution and loss‑prevention strategies
- Leading flawless operational execution, ensuring the store is always visitor‑ready and launch‑ready
- Owning store maintenance and physical environment standards, ensuring a safe and premium space
- Ensuring operational readiness for all launches, projects, new product drops and training rollouts
- Hosting and guiding senior stakeholder visits with confidence, clarity and brand leadership
- Communicating priorities, expectations and insights clearly to leaders and wider teams
- Collaborating cross‑functionally with HQ, VM, operations, supply chain and other partners
- Driving forecasting, seasonal preparation, long‑term planning and operational strategy
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Proven leadership of a large, high‑profile retail operation with the ability to influence HQ‑level partners
- Experience building high‑performing leadership teams and creating strong alignment across a wide workforce
- A passion for delivering world‑class, community‑first experiences that set industry‑leading service standards
- Strong capability handling complex, high‑visibility escalations in a way that protects and strengthens the brand
- Values‑driven leadership grounded in empathy, authenticity and consistent behaviour
- A growth mindset with the humility to seek feedback and champion continuous improvement
- Demonstrated success running high‑traffic stores with large P&L accountability and complex operational demands
- Resilience and adaptability to lead confidently through major brand activations, peak trade and rapid change
- Skilled in navigating complex and sensitive people matters at scale, using sound judgement to resolve high‑impact situations while maintaining trust, fairness and brand integrity
