Finance Manager - Supply Chain
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting and insight for Supply Chain direct costs within the Gymshark P&L. While this role partners closely with our Supply Chain teams, previous supply chain experience is not required — we’re looking for a strong finance professional who can bring rigorous management accounting, commercial insight, and confident business partnering to a critical area of the business.
This is a key role in shaping how we manage costs, forecast accurately, and support strategic decision‑making as Gymshark continues to scale.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.
-
Own financial reporting for Supply Chain direct costs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
-
Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, and 3PL partners to challenge performance against budgets and forecasts and support effective decision‑making.
-
Lead forecasting cycles, ensuring key cost drivers, seasonality, and operational inputs are accurately reflected.
-
Design and deliver monthly management accounts and weekly/monthly performance reporting.
-
Provide clear financial analysis and commentary, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
-
Develop and maintain KPIs to track performance and profitability across the Supply Chain cost base.
-
Drive continuous improvement across processes, data models, and automation to support scale.
-
Support balance sheet accuracy and lead external audit queries for your business area.
-
Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants, supporting development and high performance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.
-
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification with strong management accounting experience.
-
Proven experience in finance roles within high‑growth, fast‑paced environments (e‑commerce, retail, FMCG, or similar).
-
Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
-
Working knowledge of BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) and SQL/Python.
-
Confident business partnering skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
-
Experience managing and developing finance professionals.
-
Commercial mindset, balancing strategic objectives with operational delivery.
-
Comfortable operating in ambiguity; proactive, hands‑on, and solutions‑focused.
Note: Experience working directly in a supply chain function is not essential. This role would suit finance professionals from a range of backgrounds who enjoy partnering closely with operational teams.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least THREE days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
