Product Development Manager – Women’s
Join us in shaping the future of Gymshark’s womenswear.
We’re looking for a Product Development Manager who will take ownership of the development process for our women's product category — leading a talented team, driving quality, and ensuring every product is delivered on time and to the highest standards. This is a role for a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and knows how to turn design ideas into products our community loves.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the driving force behind the end-to-end product development process — from design handover through to black seal approval — making sure everything lands on time, to spec, and ready to perform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Product Development: Oversee the development of the womenswear category, managing milestones and timelines to deliver each collection on schedule.
- Inspire & Lead Your Team: Manage and develop a high-performing team of Product Developers, providing coaching, guidance, and opportunities for growth.
- Deliver Quality Products: Ensure every technical pack, approval, and sample meets Gymshark’s performance, quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Problem-Solve & Mitigate Risk: Act as the first point of escalation for any development challenges and create solutions that keep projects on track.
- Collaborate Across the Business: Partner with Design, Technical, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors and mills to ensure timely, accurate sample delivery and resolve any production issues quickly.
- Report & Communicate: Provide senior management with clear updates on progress, risks, and key metrics.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of garment technology, fit evaluation, and pattern making.
- Strong technical understanding of colour development, raw materials, and quality processes.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills — you inspire collaboration and get the best out of people.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident reporting on development progress and risks to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with global supply chains and cross-functional partners.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least THREE days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS ROLE IS: FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER
