People Partner - 12m FTC
OVERVIEW:
As a People Partner (12m FTC), you’ll work closely with the senior leadership team, building trusted relationships and becoming a true extension of the function you support. You’ll help them focus on their medium to long-term goals, making sure the People Plan is delivered in a way that really supports the wider business strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Support delivery of the People strategy and functional plans in line with business priorities

Build strong relationships with Directors and Heads of to influence people decisions

Use people data to provide insights and identify functional needs and opportunities

Support performance management, calibration, and talent mapping processes
-
Identify and address People Manager capability gaps through coaching and solutions
-
Manage ER cases within your function, geography, or channel
-
Deliver development initiatives for high-potential and high-performing talent
-
Monitor headcount vs. budget and support critical hiring needs
-
Ensure people policies and job descriptions are accurate, up to date, and aligned to grading
-
Support internal mobility and resourcing aligned to business goals
-
Contribute to long-term workforce planning and organisation design
-
Support restructures and strategic people change initiatives
-
Play a key role in pay review processes (e.g. market changes, promotions, bonus distribution)
-
Support promotion decisions and calibrate proposals across functions
-
Provide ad-hoc support on broader people change projects as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:

CIPD qualified with proven business partnering experience (generalist or specialist)
-
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
-
Up to date on employment legislation, trends, and best practices (including global awareness)

Clear, effective communicator, both written and verbal
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Commercially aware, analytical, and a creative problem solver
-
Self-motivated, calm under pressure, and results-driven
-
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment
-
Naturally curious, pragmatic, and passionate about understanding stakeholder needs
-
High integrity, strong judgement, and professional presence
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
