People Advisor - 12m FTC
OVERVIEW:
In this 12m FTC opportunity, you'd be the go-to People Advisor for line managers, offering proactive HR support and taking the lead on any employee relations matters. It’s a key position where you'd help shape how we manage and support our people, while also playing a big part in rolling out important people initiatives. You’d be instrumental in driving a high-performance culture, making sure we’re following HR best practices, and ultimately helping to create a great employee experience across the organisation
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Support the People strategy and functional people plans aligned to business priorities.

Build strong relationships with managers and teams across regions and channels.

Lead on routine ER matters (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence) and performance processes.

Administer performance improvement plans, exit interviews, and reboarding (e.g. maternity/paternity).

Coordinate and track mandatory training and L&D initiatives.

Manage onboarding handovers, wellbeing check-ins, and occupational health reviews.

Ensure people policies and job descriptions are accurate, up to date, and well-communicated.

Maintain trackers and support People Ops with data changes (e.g. reporting lines, grades).

Assist in delivering change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning.

Contribute to functional pay reviews, promotions, and bonus planning.

Provide ad-hoc support across broader people initiatives as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Previous relevant HR experience within a generalist or specialist role
- Knowledge and awareness of UK employment legislation and practices
- Keep up to date with legislation, external trends and best practice
- Great verbal and written communication for a wide range of audiences

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, agile environment

Commercially aware with strong lateral thinking and problem-solving skills

High integrity, sound judgement, and strong analytical ability

CIPD qualified (preferred)

Knowledge of global employment legislation (preferred)
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
