Social Content Manager

OVERVIEW:
Your purpose is to ensure that Gymshark’s Social Content is best in class, with oversight of the always on content creation and management of our social channels. You will be a driver in ensuring that our social channels are at the forefront of innovation, keeping on top of trending content formats, new channels and features to ensure that Gymshark’s social content is always world class.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Line management of the social content always on team, developing and leading a team of high performing social creators.
- Delivering the annual social channel content strategies.
- Delivering impactful, social first assets that are platform specific.
- Working collaboratively with the social leadership team to ensure the global rollout of campaigns across social media channels is channel appropriate.
- Work closely with the social strategy team to understand and act on market trends, user behaviour, new platform features, competitor activity and other relevant updates, with a view to integrate into our social channel management.
- Delivering social and brand results against set KPIs and objectives.
- Leading our reactive and responsive social content strategy, ensuring that we capitalise on trending conversation in a timely and brand appropriate way, working cross functionally to bring this to life.
- Working collaboratively with the wider social and brand teams to bring Gymshark’s holistic social, brand and marketing strategy to life.
- Flexibility towards out of hours and unsociable hours if required.
- Creating impactful content that drives forward our social and brand KPIs and objectives.
- Facilitating the development of junior members of staff to create a high performing team who can work with autonomy to deliver on our objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a social media content role
- Line management experience is essential
- Must have an excellent understanding of the social landscape
- Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat required
- Proven track record in delivery of KPI driven results
- Highly organised and impeccable attention to detail. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a proven track record delivering KPI driven results
- Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter and proactive attitude.
- Good mix of creative thinking and commercial understanding
- You are a naturally curious thinking, self-driven character with a passion for understanding customers and meeting their needs
- Must be comfortable presenting concepts and ideas to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
- Experience with Sprinklr
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
