We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Issue triaging of production systems, monitoring and observability on enterprise tools like NewRelic / Grafana and configuration / Integration to join our growing TechOps / SRE team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Software teams to deliver real-time visibility into our infrastructure, applications, and data systems.
How you will contribute in this role:
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across frontend, backend, and database layers, ensuring minimal customer impact.
- Integrate monitoring solutions with various tech stacks using webhooks and other integration methods like metric streaming etc.
- Automate alert configurations and monitoring infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks (Terraform, CDKTF, etc.).
- Write, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for deployments using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, IT Infra, Service Management) to improve reliability and observability standards.
- Improve system resilience and minimize MTTR (mean time to recovery) through incident response automation.
- Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring rapid incident response across our stack.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a Cloud Operations/DevOps role.
- 5+ years in a production environment supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications - including web, mobile, and e-commerce/payment applications.
Good to Have:
- Proven experience writing IaC using tools like AWS CDK or CDK for Terraform (CDKTF)
Must have:
- Strong expertise in Scripting using OOPs languages such as Python / Ruby / JavaScript etc.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as TypeScript, Python, or similar.
- Professional experience in cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred), such as serverless functions, API gateway, relational and NoSQL databases, and caching.
- Strong experience with container orchestration ( ECS, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
- Experience with AWS Cloud (or similar) for DevOps operations: deploying, troubleshooting, backups, and IaC-based provisioning.
- An advanced degree in software / data engineering, computer / information science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, scrappy and biased for action.
