Retail Associate

London, United Kingdom

Purpose of the role

Tekla is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate to join our first store outside our home market, opening in Marylebone, London. This marks a significant milestone for the brand and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our presence in a key global city.

Our ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and motivated to work in an ambitious environment where we aim to redefine modern luxury. You will share your knowledge of high-quality products with our customers and act as an ambassador for the brand.

You should enjoy taking on responsibility and possess a natural curiosity about customer needs. A genuine appreciation for our brand, coupled with an eagerness to learn about and communicate our products to both existing and new clients, will be key to your success.

We have both part-time and full-time positions available. When applying, please specify your preferred availability. Full availability during November and December is required to support the store opening and the festive season.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and nurture meaningful client relationships to drive engagement and elevate the shopping experience
  • Support retail operational standards, including sales, visual merchandising, and replenishment
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our products and their care
  • Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for retail and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Adhere to and uphold Tekla’s expectations and standards
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to support daily operations and achieve sales targets
  • Carry out other ad hoc duties as required

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with premium or luxury retail experience an advantage
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in helping others
  • Warmth, curiosity, and the ability to initiate conversations and build relationships with customers
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in adapting to different customers
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings when required
  • An appreciation for our brand and products

Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted in September, with the aim of the chosen candidate joining us in November. If you have a genuine interest in connecting with clients through retail and an appreciation for Tekla’s approach, we encourage you to apply.
