About the Opportunity

We're looking for a highly analytical, curious, and proactive Business Analyst to join our dynamic Revenue Strategy and Insights team. This isn't just about reporting; it's about being a strategic partner who directly influences our core business growth. You'll be the crucial bridge between complex revenue data and senior leadership, translating advanced analyses into compelling, actionable insights that drive success for our entire organization. You'll empower senior leadership to understand market dynamics, optimize performance, and identify significant revenue opportunities across our diverse portfolio.

What You'll Do

Imagine starting your day by reviewing key revenue dashboards, then immediately diving deep into the data to uncover root causes, seek untapped opportunities, and identify emerging trends within customer segments. You'll use your advanced analytical and statistical methods to transform raw data into a clear understanding of revenue performance, whether it's optimizing monetization strategies or evaluating new partnership proposals.

A significant part of your role involves transforming complex analyses into easily digested narratives for senior leadership. You'll prepare and present findings directly to VPs, Managing Directors, or the C-Suite, guiding them through sophisticated analyses of revenue performance, explaining the quantitative impact of specific initiatives, and helping to shape major strategic decisions. You're constantly seeking to empower executives with timely, impactful data to drive future revenue growth, truly thriving on creating direct business impact.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis using advanced analytical and statistical methods on churn, retention, product adoption, and customer segmentation to uncover root causes, discover new segments, and identify impactful trends.
  • Translate complex revenue analyses into clear, concise, and compelling strategic recommendations and actionable insights, built into easily digested narratives.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for executive consumption, primarily in Looker.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic insights directly to executive leadership and managing directors, articulating complex concepts simply while emphasizing the business impact and growth opportunities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and growth drivers within our revenue streams and customer base through rigorous data exploration.
  • Collaborate closely with other analysts in the team, product analysts, and business leaders to integrate data-driven approaches into core revenue strategies.
  • Leverage AI-driven codeless building of analytical tools for advanced analytics to shorten time to value or automate processes, freeing up more time for in-depth insights and strategic thought.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role, with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis and a desire to make a direct business impact. If you are looking to take the next step into a senior analyst position, bringing a strong technical background and a keen interest in insights, we encourage you to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline).
  • Advanced SQL proficiency: You can write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets from various sources.
  • Expertise in Data Visualization Tools: Proven experience building compelling dashboards and reports, preferably in Looker.
  • Strong Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex problems, apply advanced analytical and statistical methods, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions that drive growth.
  • Impact-Driven Communication: The ability to articulate complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to senior leadership, both verbally and in writing, with a focus on highlighting business impact and opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of key revenue metrics  (NRR, GRR, Product Adoption Metrics etc).
  • Familiarity with forecasting models: Understanding how they are built and how to consume and curve insights from them.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: For data manipulation, modeling, and quick ad-hoc analysis.
  • Growth Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying new revenue opportunities and optimizing existing ones through data-driven insights.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with AI-driven automation tools for advanced analytics or process optimization.
  • Experience supporting or influencing decisions at the executive level.
