About the opportunity
Teads is seeking a results-driven, highly technical, and analytical L3 support engineer to join our Supply Operations global team in Munich, Germany.
The L3 support engineer will undertake responsibilities such as troubleshooting, testing, and integrating both programmatic and traditional supply. This role requires close collaboration with business and operational teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a member of the Local team, the L3 support engineer must excel in building strong internal relationships with the local business team and the global operations teams.
What will you do?
As a L3 support engineer, your mission will be to:
- Proactive and open-minded with high problem-solving skills to ensure successful technical implementation of programmatic and traditional supply.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of complex issues, requiring a deep understanding of Teads's products and architecture.
- Facilitate the troubleshooting process by providing technical assistance to both Account Managers and clients.
- Provide real insights about the activity through deep analysis using multiple internal and external tools and platforms.
- Hands-on involvement in identifying, analyzing, and resolving production issues in a high-paced dynamic environment.
- Communicate and work closely with the local offices and external stakeholders to provide quality technical support and solutions. Being in the office fosters stronger relationships, allowing for immediate feedback, spontaneous discussions, and real-time problem-solving.

What will you bring to the team?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in L2 support or more than 1 year in L3 support engineer
- Technical background: Proven track of prior experience in businesses that have developed and operated successful tech products.
- Manage good relationships with cross-functional teams and become a subject matter expert who leads by example and facilitates escalation.
- Web technologies knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Integration knowledge: RestAPI, HTTP protocol, JSON, knowledge with OpenRTB protocols, PostMan.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies related to web, databases, analytics, and APIs/SDKs.
- Analytical skills: Sharp & fast thinker, proficiency in SQL.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills, capable of producing technical summaries, emails, and conducting face-to-face meetings.
Advantage but not a must
- Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in industrial and management engineering or in a similar discipline.
- Experience in ad-tech, particularly on the supply side, is an advantage.
- Analyzing: Making data into business suggestions! Connect all relevant data points to a clear conclusion - familiarity with Hive, Vertica, MySQL, BQ, Redshift.
- Automation: Familiarity with scripting in Python, working with API, Testing. Knowledge about working with n8n is a plus.
- Troubleshooting: Good understanding of information system concepts to better understand possible problems in the production environment.
- Monitoring: Familiarity with reading, creating tracking reports, dashboards, graphs, monitoring changes within a production environment, advantage - familiar with Grafana, Druid.
- Ability to be a Project Owner, working simultaneously on multiple projects and delivering results while maintaining routine tasks.
- A natural team player who has an inclusive approach but also the ability to make key decisions based on experience.
- Capable of driving partners' technical calls.
