About the opportunity

We are looking for a partnership-driven Publisher Account Manager to join our growing Tokyo team and help shape the future of media at Teads.

As a Publisher Account Manager, you’ll work closely with some of Japan’s leading digital publishers, managing relationships, driving monetization, and unlocking new opportunities for growth across web and app platforms. You’ll be the go-to contact for our publisher partners, ensuring smooth operations and long-term success.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for digital media, and love building meaningful partnerships, this is your chance to grow with one of the most innovative ad tech companies in the world.

What will you do?

  • Own and grow strategic publisher relationships across web and in-app environments.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our publisher partners, ensuring operational excellence and smooth delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Ad Ops and Sales teams to ensure campaign success.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and provide consultative recommendations to optimize revenue.
  • Partner with the Publisher Development Director to expand our footprint across the region.
  • Support market expansion strategies with insights and execution across new and existing partners.

About You

  • 2+ years’ experience in digital media, ideally in publisher development at an SSP, ad network, or ad tech platform
  • You know your way around the digital ad ecosystem and have a network of local publishers and app owners
  • You’re organized, solutions-driven, and love making things happen
  • You’re comfortable with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP are your friends)
  • Fluent-level Japanese with business-level English (or willingness to develop English proficiency).

This is a one-year contract position, with the possibility of converting to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
