About the opportunity
We’re looking for a top-notch Business Development Manager who will help to grow and retain the new Teads Mid tail-market publisher business. This individual will work with the business and account management team helping assess and convert inbound leads, looking for new publishers, drive inside sales of the joint companies products, and assisting in team special projects and initiatives and market analysis. The BD will also take part in prospecting, negotiating and signing new deals.
We’re looking for someone with entrepreneurial instincts, self-motivated who is also a team player that has prior experience in the Digital media/Ad-tech in sales positions working for global companies and specifically has prior experience with sales in NA + APAC markets.
What will you do?
- Drive Growth through Up & Cross-Selling: Promote the New Teads product offerings of the merged companies to existing and new clients.
- Shape New Processes: Collaborate with the Marketing and MIS teams to design and implement scalable processes aligned with the new Teads structure.
- Lead Inbound Sales: Manage the full lifecycle of inbound leads in your regions in charge - from qualification and follow-up to deal closure and onboarding.
- Lead Outbound Sales Initiatives: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients, driving new business opportunities through outbound efforts.
- Conduct Market Research: Perform ongoing market analysis to uncover opportunities, understand client needs, and refine outreach strategies.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Business Development and Account Management teams to ensure seamless client experiences pre- and post-signing.
- Pitch & Negotiate: Deliver impactful presentations, build strong client relationships, and negotiate commercial terms and contracts.
- Analyze & Optimize: Take part in performance reviews, upselling opportunities, and continuous campaign optimization to drive long-term client success.
What will you bring to the team?
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, technology, or sales roles, with a strong track record of working with prospects in the US, North America, and APAC regions.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a consultative and results-driven approach.
- Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to track, interpret, and present performance data effectively.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets to analyze data, build reports, and drive insights.
- Experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SimilarWeb) to support sales and marketing strategy.
- Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills - a must.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, particularly in fast-paced startup or scale-up companies.
- 1–2 years of inside sales experience - a significant advantage.
- Experience with Sales Engagement Platforms such as Outreach - a strong plus.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Nice to Have / Bonus Points
- Background in adtech, martech, or media platforms.
- Understanding of programmatic advertising or native advertising ecosystems.
- Experience selling B2B SaaS or tech products.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to customize outreach and messaging based on industry, client size, or region.
