The opportunity:

We're looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the evolution of Teachable's core platform extensibility, centered around our integration tools. This is a pivotal role in transforming how sophisticated creators interact with and build upon Teachable. You'll move beyond traditional admin panels, unlocking new possibilities for automation, integration, and custom experiences that significantly impact creator success and satisfaction. This isn't just about endpoints; it's about defining the future of an extensible education platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Shape the Future of Platform Extensibility: Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for Teachable's integrations, translating technical capabilities into tangible value for our most advanced creators.
  • Empower Creators with Automation & Integration: Identify and prioritize key use cases that allow creators to automate workflows, integrate with their existing tech stacks, and build custom solutions across Teachable's diverse product offerings (courses, coaching, memberships, downloads).
  • Lead Go-to-Market (GTM) for Platform Capabilities: Develop compelling commercial narratives and GTM strategies that clearly articulate the power and benefits of Teachable's platform extensibility to various creator segments.
  • Foster an Ecosystem of Innovation: Strategize on growing Teachable's partner ecosystem, enabling agencies and developers to build on our platform, and explore new monetization models that recognize the value of deep integration.
  • Drive Technical & Experiential Excellence: Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure a robust, scalable, and well-documented API experience, anticipating future needs and delivering a seamless journey for developers and creators alike.

Who you are:

  • Strategic & Platform-Minded: You possess a strong vision for how platform capabilities drive business value and understand the dynamics of building an extensible product within a broader ecosystem.
  • Discovery & Innovation Leader: You're skilled at uncovering complex user needs, validating hypotheses, and defining impactful solutions in areas of high technical complexity and market uncertainty.
  • Influential & Collaborative: You excel at leading cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders across different departments, and navigating complex trade-offs to achieve strategic goals.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You have a passion for understanding sophisticated creators' operational challenges and are driven to build solutions that significantly enhance their efficiency and growth.

Your skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in Product Management, specifically with API-first and MCP products, platforms, or developer tools.
  • Strong track record in defining product strategy, building roadmaps, and leading Go-to-Market efforts for technical products.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and insights to drive product decisions and measure impact.
  • Solid understanding of growth metrics, user adoption, and retention strategies for platform products.
  • Familiarity with modern API design principles, technical documentation best practices, and ecosystem development.
  • Experience within the SaaS or Creator Economy space is a plus.
