About your Team
Growth Marketing at Teachable focuses on bringing more creators to our platform by optimizing each step of the growth funnel. We work closely with Product, Partnerships and Brand & Content, in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. We embrace testing new hypotheses, fail fast and quickly apply those learnings through a very data-driven approach. What is the role?
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Website Lead to join our Growth Marketing team.
You will be responsible for driving qualified trial conversions by leading our website strategy and optimization efforts. This role will own the end-to-end website experience, from strategy and development to performance optimization through A/B testing programs.
You'll lead a team of 2 (web developer, UX/UI designer) and collaborate across functions, including Brand & Content, Partnerships Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure our website effectively supports company goals and delivers exceptional user experiences.
This role will report to the Growth Marketing Associate Director.
This position is hybrid to our São Paulo office. Although flexible, local employees tend to use our São Paulo office 1-2 times a week.
Additionally, this position will collaborate with American employees on a daily basis, so fluency in English is required.
In this role you'll:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive web strategy that aligns with business goals, focusing on driving qualified traffic, improving conversion rates, and enhancing brand engagement.
- Own website management and optimization, including designing, building, and updating landing pages (primarily in Webflow), to support growth, product, and brand initiatives.
- Develop and implement website conversion solutions, including but not limited to pop-up experiences, interactive surveys and smart forms
- Track, analyze, and report on website performance using tools like GA4, Heap, Microsoft Clarity, and SEO tools, translating insights into actionable improvements and growth opportunities.
- Design and run A/B tests and experiments across web and mobile experiences to continuously improve conversion and user engagement, sharing learnings and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with the rest of the Growth Marketing team, Brand & Content, Product Marketing, and Data teams to execute site updates, campaign launches, and product refreshes effectively.
- Lead and mentor a small web team, collaborating with leadership to align website initiatives with broader business objectives and ensuring high-quality output across all projects.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in web marketing, or website management (a SaaS or technology environment.)
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth, engagement, and conversion through data-driven approach.
- Hands-on expertise with Webflow and comfortable owning builds and updates directly.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and modern web technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in website performance analytics, CRO, A/B testing, and tools like Google Analytics, Heap, Microsoft Clarity, VWO, or Optimizely.
- Understanding of SEO to partner with our SEO specialist on maximizing website performance.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable website initiatives.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Team management and/or mentorship experience.
Nice to have:
- Technical understanding of web development, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Understanding of AI/LLM trends and implications for the future of website and SEO.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Background in educational technology.
