What is this role?
In this role, you will join our dynamic team as the Pricing and Special Projects Manager. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing governance, developing innovative pricing strategies, and assessing market competitiveness. Additionally, you will lead and manage various strategic special projects that directly contribute to our company’s growth objectives. Your analytical expertise and collaborative leadership will be crucial as you work across departments to provide actionable insights and drive impactful initiatives.
This position is based in a hybrid capacity in Belo Horizonte or São Paulo, 1-2 days per week in the office.
In this role, you'll:
- Build, oversee and govern pricing structures to ensure alignment with company objectives and market standards.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge pricing strategies while conducting thorough competitiveness assessments to optimize our market positioning.
- Lead and manage special projects focused on strategic initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and enhance business performance.
What You'll Bring:
- Consulting Experience: Previous experience in a consulting firm, preferably in a role focused on GTM strategies, pricing strategy, business analysis, or financial consulting, which can bring diverse perspectives and methodologies to the team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large sets of data and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience with quantitative analysis and familiarity with pricing models.
- A curious mindset, with a continuous desire to uncover underlying trends and insights.
- Exceptional team player, eager to foster collaboration and support cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving, demonstrating willingness to dive into the details in finding solutions and demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness to achieve results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Capable of articulating complex analyses clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Presentation Skills: Experience in creating and delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting analytical findings and recommendations clearly.

- Advanced Analytical Tools: Proficiency in advanced analytical tools and software (e.g., Tableau, SQL, R, Python) for more sophisticated data analysis and visualization.
- Networking Abilities: Existing professional network within the industry that could provide valuable insights and foster partnerships.
- Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering on complex projects within tight deadlines, showcasing effective project management capabilities.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to connect pricing strategies to broader business objectives and financial performance.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates, enabling a better understanding of market dynamics and competitive pressures.
- Change Management Exposure: Knowledge or experience in change management processes, especially in implementing new pricing strategies or business models.
