Your Role

Join our team to take an active role in helping leading industrial companies turn sustainability ambition into action. As a Senior Account Development Manager at Tanso, your mission is to unlock and drive revenue growth within our strategic customer accounts. By combining deep customer understanding and consultative selling, you co-create future visions with our customers, build strong cross-functional relationships, and drive expansion deals to close. 

 

How You Succeed 

Customer Expansion Strategy & Execution 

  • Work closely with the Customer Success Manager to identify and develop expansion potential.
  • Drive high-impact workshops to identify new use cases, value opportunities, and shared goals.
  • Own the execution of strategic expansion plans for key accounts along the full sales cycle.
  • Build trusted partnerships across customer organizations, navigating various stakeholders and decision-makers and position Tanso as their strategic partner in sustainability.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting and reporting on expansion opportunities in CRM.
  • Ensure seamless handover to the Customer Success Manager. 

 

Relationship Building & Buyer Enablement 

  • Customize Tanso’s value proposition to evolving customer needs and stakeholder priorities .
  • Act as a consultative advisor, guiding customers through internal alignment and budget allocation for expansion projects.
  • Address objections with confidence and navigate complex buying processes in an enterprise context. 

 

Build and drive a repeatable expansion engine 

  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Product and Climate Intelligence to ensure a frictionless experience across implementation, strategic and commercial discussions.
  • Test, iterate, and scale best practices for driving expansions within existing customers.
  • Build playbooks, templates, and frameworks to embed expansion as a repeatable, scalable process

Hard Requirements 

  • You already live or are willing to relocate to/near Munich.
  • You must have a pre-existing working permit for the EU.
  • Ideally you speak English at level C1 or higher.
  • You must speak German at level C2.
