Your Role 

Become part of Tanso and leverage your skills for climate impact. 

As Senior Recruiter, your mission is to own and elevate Tanso's end-to-end hiring experience - from first outreach to signed offer. You are a trusted partner to our hiring teams and an expert in finding, engaging, and closing top talent across functions. You combine structured, scalable processes with a personal, high-touch approach that reflects Tanso's values and high standards. 

You operate with full ownership, high speed, and a deep understanding of what makes a candidate the right fit - both technically and culturally. You bring a systems mindset to recruiting: building talent pipelines, running data-informed processes, and refining tools and workflows to scale with our growth. Most importantly, you ensure every candidate - whether hired or not - leaves the process as an advocate for Tanso. 

 

How You Succeed 

  • Own and execute full cycle recruiting for business and technical roles, across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to scope roles, define scorecards and run structured interview processes.
  • Proactively source, engage, and convert high-quality candidates through outbound search and network building.
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience at every stage of the funnel.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to guide priorities.

Recruitment Process 

  1. Get to know Tanso with the People Team - learn more about us, ask your questions, and let’s explore together whether it’s a mutual fit.
  2. Role Introduction with the Head of Operations & Finance - understand your role and see whom you will be working with.
  3. Deep dive with the Head of Operations & Finance and one of our founders + get to know the team - get a feeling for the tasks ahead of you and meet your future colleagues. 

 

Hard Requirements 

  • 4-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced environments (startup, tech, VC-backed companies, or agency)
  • Strong track record hiring for commercial and technical roles (business, sales, product, engineering, etc.)
  • Expert-level sourcing skills with a track record of converting top-of-funnel candidates into hires
  • Experience working with modern ATS and sourcing tools (e.g. Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Proven ability to run structured and data-driven processes from end to end
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both German and English (C1+)
