(Senior) Product Manager (f/m/x)

Your Role

As a (Senior) Product Manager at Tanso, you’ll tackle challenges that define the future of Europe’s industrial champions—and turn them into software that drives sustainability across global supply chains. You combine relentless customer curiosity with decisive product development, leading a cross-functional pod of engineers and designers. 

Tanso isn’t building just another SaaS platform - we already manage a significant share of industrial emissions and are rapidly expanding our “Carbon under Management”. Your product decisions will directly accelerate Tanso’s growth and help decarbonize and future-proof the European industry.  

We're a highly integrated, ambitious, and collaborative product organization. We operate as one cross-functional unit—engineers, designers, and product managers each own features end-to-end and proactively support one another, keeping the focus squarely on delivering customer value.  
 

How you succeed

• Lead with purpose: Own the end-to-end discovery, development, and iteration of features - from early ideas to shipped product. You ensure we meet regulatory standards, solve real user needs, and create lasting customer value. 

• Listen deeply: Talk to users, shadow customers, and gather insights from Sales, Customer Success and Climate Intelligence. Make sure every product decision is grounded in a real understanding of our customers’ and their industry’s context and needs.  

• Get your hands dirty: Especially in the era of LLM tools, we expect you to prototype early and often. Use tools like Lovable, v0, and Cursor to explore concepts, validate assumptions, and accelerate discovery. 

• Transform insight into strategic impact: Define and continuously refine the product roadmap for one of our pods, ensuring alignment with Tanso’s overarching product vision and commercial strategy to lead in a fast-evolving market. 

• Supercharge all other teams: Enable Tanso to empower our customers to make the most out of our product. Become the trusted source for market knowledge and product strategy in your domain. 

 

Your Profile 

To us, problem-solving ability, creativity, and intrinsic drive matter more than checking every box. Tools and skills can be learned—what truly counts is how fast you learn and the outcomes you deliver. 

That said, here are some reference points to give you a sense of what sort of profile we are looking for: 

• You thrive in fast-paced environments with high ownership and hands-on execution 

• You already have 2-5 years of experience in product management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment 

• You have a strong technical and commercial understanding and equally like to work closely with engineers, customer success and sales 

 

We have a few hard requirements: 

• You already live or are willing to relocate to Munich. 

• You must have a pre-existing working permit for the EU. 

• You must speak English at level C1 or higher. 

• You must speak German at native speaker level (C2).
