Your role
We are looking for a Senior Compliance Associate to support the Compliance Department in ensuring full adherence to SAMA regulations applicable to payment services, including activities under the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license and other Payment Service Provider (PSP) categories. The role involves both advisory and monitoring responsibilities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable SAMA regulations related to payment services (e.g., EMI, PSP, wallet providers).
- Review and approve new products to ensure alignment with SAMA requirements.
- Monitor internal processes and product structures for regulatory adherence.
- Track, interpret, and implement changes from SAMA circulars and regulatory updates.
- Review and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure consistency with current SAMA regulations.
- Ensure receipt and proper dissemination of all circulars and publications issued by SAMA; follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely implementation.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to SAMA within required timelines.
- Review management reports submitted to SAMA for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and validate data required by SAMA.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and remediation actions as needed.
- Provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on payment-related compliance matters.
Your expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a compliance role at a SAMA-regulated entity operating in the payments sector.
- Solid understanding of SAMA’s regulatory framework for payment services.
- Experience in regulatory reporting and policy review.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Fluency in English and Arabic.
