About Your Role:
As a Communications Specialist, you’ll support the planning and execution of campaigns, content, and communication initiatives across Tamara’s products and audiences. You will work closely with different teams to bring business priorities to life through clear messaging, strong storytelling, and high-quality execution.
This role requires you to be equal parts storyteller, project manager, and creative thinker.
One minute you will be building campaign plans, timelines, and coordinating stakeholders. The next, you will be shaping narratives, reviewing creative, writing messaging, and thinking about what will actually make a customer stop, care, and remember.
You should be able to think about campaigns as full 360 ecosystems with many moving parts, while also having strong creative instincts and a clear point of view on what good looks like.
You do not need to be a designer, but you should know how to judge whether an idea, message, visual, or campaign feels strong, relevant, and high quality.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership, has high standards, communicates clearly, and enjoys leading projects end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Own end-to-end campaign delivery across the UAE market, from brief to launch to reporting.
- Translate business objectives into clear communication strategies, customer narratives, and actionable campaign plans.
- Build 360 campaign plans across multiple channels.
- Partner with the relevant teams across CRM, in-app, events, PR, and other channels to ensure messaging is aligned and consistent across all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure campaign narratives, tone of voice, and key messages are carried consistently across all channels.
- Lead multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and timelines.
- Reverse engineer campaign execution by identifying dependencies, stakeholders, blockers, and required outputs from the start.
Storytelling & Creative Direction
- Craft compelling narratives and messaging that connect business priorities with customer needs.
- Ensure all campaigns are grounded in customer insight, market context, and local relevance.
- Partner with internal teams to simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand communication.
- Review and guide creative outputs to ensure they meet Tamara’s quality standards.
- Maintain a high bar for quality across copy, creative, messaging, and execution.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Build strong relationships across teams and act as the connective tissue between different functions.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders with clear communication, follow-ups, and strong project management.
- Manage agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure deliverables are on time and up to Tamara standards.
Your expertise:
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in communications, campaigns, marketing, PR, or project management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Media, or a related field.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in English.
- Strong project management skills and ability to take ownership of deliverables to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience managing campaigns, content, social media, or brand communication initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the UAE market, customer behavior, cultural nuances, and what resonates locally.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong storytelling and messaging abilities with a sharp eye for quality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with different stakeholders across teams.
