AI Art Director

🚀 Your role & impact:

We are currently growing our Games team and are on the search for a AI Art Director to lead the intersection of art, technology, and AI-driven content creation in our mobile games. This role blends artistic vision with deep technical expertise in AI-assisted pipelines, helping scale high-quality visual production while maintaining a strong and cohesive art direction.

You will define how AI integrates into our art workflows, ensure production efficiency, and push visual innovation, all while preserving the craft, creativity, and quality that define successful mobile games.

 

This role is based in our beautiful Copenhagen office, as we truly believe that when talented people work closely together, amazing things happen! We therefore offer full relocation support to those coming from outside of Denmark.

 

Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day:

• Design and implement AI-driven art pipelines (concept art, variations, asset generation, etc.)
• Evaluate, test, and integrate generative AI tools (image, texture, animation, upscaling, etc.)
• Develop prompt strategies, model fine-tuning approaches, and workflow documentation
• Establish quality control processes for AI-generated content
• Partner with engineering to integrate AI tools into production pipelines
• Build scalable workflows for live games and content-heavy features
• Identify automation opportunities in art production
• Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and assess their relevance to mobile gaming
• Act as a bridge between traditional art teams and technical innovation

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in game art production, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience shipping mobile games
• Strong understanding of mobile art pipelines and technical constraints
• Previous experience with Comfy UI
• Hands-on experience with AI image generation tools 
• Experience building or optimizing production pipelines
• Experience collaborating with engineers on tool integration
