Senior Frontend Developer (On Demand Platform)

For our client within the Tax line of service, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen the On Demand (OD) platform team. The OD platform hosts a large number of mini-applications used globally by professionals and clients, requiring scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

What you’ll do

• Focus on creating and maintaining stateless components used across various mini-applications.
• Play a key role in the further development of the OD platform and help drive the team toward a more agile way of working.
• Lead upcoming initiatives including building bespoke landing pages, implementing brand changes, and expanding the library of web components.
• Set an example within the Agile team in terms of code quality, documentation, and robust unit testing.
• Work closely with UX designers and a team of approximately 20 application developers to deliver integrated solutions.

What we’re looking for

• A strong background in building reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components and developer tools.
• Highly proficient in React, including hooks, context, and advanced concepts.
• Experience with Web Components is considered a strong plus for this role.
• Experience building scalable component architectures and a skill for performance optimization in web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Vite, Storybook, ESLint, Prettier, and CI/CD for automated testing.
• Primarily focused on frontend (80%), but possessing the full-stack capabilities (20%) to navigate the broader platform.
• Practical experience with GitHub, Docker, and other modern development tools.
• Strong analytical skills supported by an academic background and a self-starter, hands-on approach.
• No sponsorship is available, and candidates must already reside in the Netherlands.
• Preferably Dutch speaking candidates
