Content Designer / Senior Digital Copywriter

For one of our major clients in the aviation and travel domain, we are looking for a Senior Content Designer / Digital Copywriter to support two high-impact initiatives: a complete refresh of the digital Tone of Voice and the rollout of TRUC (Truly Reusable & User-Centric Content), a new modular, metadata-driven content foundation for all digital touchpoints.
You will work at the intersection of content strategy, UX writing, structured content modelling, and stakeholder collaboration. This is a role for a senior specialist who can deliver concrete, high-quality outcomes, not just participate in ongoing team operations.
What you’ll do
A. Modular Content Design (TRUC)

Break down, restructure and rewrite existing content into modular, reusable components

Work with taxonomy, metadata, and structured content models in Contentstack
-
Remove duplication and establish a single source of truth for digital content

Write content designed to scale across Web, App, Email, and API-driven surfaces
-
Deliver modular content packages for 1–2 use cases per quarter (e.g., Meals, SAF, Cabin)

Support personalisation and system-driven content assembly
B. Tone of Voice Refresh

Bring storytelling expertise into themes like Sustainability, Travel Well, and brand USPs

Translate the updated Tone of Voice into clear, actionable digital content

Rewrite flows, pages, and microcopy with clarity, warmth, and consistency

Create guidelines, examples, templates, and best practices for digital teams

Support adoption across all content and UX teams
This assignment is deliverable-driven, focused on producing modular content blocks, applied Tone-of-Voice guidelines, rewritten flows/pages, and content quality reviews. It is not a task-based or team-capacity role, but a strategic contribution with measurable outcomes.
What we’re looking for

8+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or Senior Digital Copywriter

Strong experience with UX writing and designing user-centric digital journeys

Skilled in modular, structured, and reusable content approaches

Able to work strategically and hands-on switching between system thinking and execution

Excellent writing skills in English and Dutch

Comfortable in large, multi-stakeholder environments with multiple product teams

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus: experience with Contentstack, personalization frameworks, structured content, or taxonomy design
