Senior Product Manager

For one of our large-scale e-commerce clients, we are looking for a Product Manager to strengthen a Security Platform team responsible for safeguarding a fast-moving, high-volume digital ecosystem. The security domain handles platform-wide protections, vulnerability management, developer tooling, and foundational capabilities that keep customer and business data safe.

This role requires a product leader who combines technical depth with strong stakeholder engagement, and who can translate complex security requirements into clear product strategy, roadmap, and cross-team execution.

What you’ll do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritisation for security platform capabilities

• Collaborate closely with security engineers, platform developers, architects, and stakeholders across the organization

• Translate security needs — from regulatory requirements to internal risk assessments — into actionable product initiatives

• Guide teams in delivering secure-by-design services and automation that improve developer productivity and platform reliability

• Manage the lifecycle of key security capabilities such as vulnerability management, secrets management, identity & access patterns, and secure development tooling

• Work with engineering teams to ensure security solutions are scalable, reliable, and frictionless for developers

• Continuously evaluate the security posture and identify improvement opportunities using data, metrics, and feedback loops

• Facilitate decision-making, balancing technical constraints, business priorities, and risk appetite

• Communicate product direction and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Align stakeholders across multiple teams — product, security, compliance, platform engineering, and leadership

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Manager within security, platform engineering, or developer tooling domains

• Strong understanding of modern security principles (DevSecOps, vulnerability management, identity & access patterns, secrets management)

• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and translate complex technical topics into clear product outcomes

• Experience in large-scale digital or e-commerce environments is a strong plus

• Data-driven approach to evaluating security posture, risk, and product impact

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization

• Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-autonomy, Agile/DevOps teams

• Proactive, structured, and able to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

• Experience with cloud security (GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Experience with developer experience (DevEx) initiatives

• Background in cybersecurity frameworks or compliance domains

• Familiarity with threat modelling or secure development lifecycle practices
