About Royal Schiphol Group
Royal Schiphol Group brings the world within reach. We connect the Netherlands to the rest of the world, creating value for the economy and society. More than 2,000 dedicated colleagues work around the clock, 24/7, to make this possible.
Our ambition is clear: to be Europe’s best hub airport — for both passengers and airlines. To achieve this, data plays a central role. It drives our business intelligence, enables advanced analytics, and powers smart technologies such as AI that enhance the safety and efficiency of our daily operations. Data and AI also help us improve the travel experience for the 71 million passengers passing through our airports each year.
Having actionable data and meaningful insights is essential to achieving our strategic goals — to use data to improve the quality of our services, strengthen our network, and enrich lives.
About the Data, AI & Analytics (DnA) Department
To realize this ambition, we’ve established the Data, AI & Analytics (DnA) department, responsible for accelerating our transition into a truly data-driven organization. DnA oversees the strategic use of AI, data, and applied data science across Royal Schiphol Group — identifying new opportunities for innovation and growth through data products and services.
Our responsibilities include defining and maintaining data governance and quality frameworks, managing BI capabilities, and collaborating closely with IT to ensure a future-proof data infrastructure.
DnA consists of both central data teams — focused on building scalable, reusable data, AI, and BI capabilities — and embedded teams that work directly with the various business units across Schiphol.
