Role Overview
We are looking for a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize Kubernetes-based environments across development and production. In this role, you will ensure cluster stability, address vulnerabilities (CVEs), and enhance CI/CD workflows to support reliable and scalable cloud-native workloads. This position is ideal for an engineer who values automation, operational excellence, and close collaboration with development teams to enable seamless and secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, upgrade, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.

Identify and resolve vulnerabilities (CVEs) in container images and dependencies.

Rebuild and redeploy container images as part of regular maintenance cycles.

Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes workloads (e.g., GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins).

Automate compliance, policy enforcement, and security checks across clusters and pipelines.

Work closely with development teams to align platform changes with application needs.

Troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Maintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.
Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience managing and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.

Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and deployment models.

Hands-on experience with container image management (Docker, BuildKit, etc.).

Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or Concourse.

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.

Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).

Knowledge of Kubernetes security features (Pod Security Standards, Network Policies).

Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).

Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack).

Contributions to open-source or Kubernetes-related projects.
