IAM Engineer

The Randstad

You will be part of the Identity Federation team at ABN AMRO, a group dedicated to enabling seamless and secure access for both internal and external users—national and international—across the bank's applications and services. Our users expect to log in from any location, at any time, on any device, using a variety of authentication methods.

As we expand our digital capabilities, federated identity management becomes increasingly critical. Employees and customers must be able to reuse credentials across legacy systems, private/public cloud platforms, and international applications—with Single Sign-On (SSO) and flexible integration of authentication methods, whether supplied by ABN AMRO or third parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Identity Federation solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and custom adapters/plugins written in Java.

  • Integrate and optimize OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and other federation protocols to support secure access across platforms.

  • Support and enhance existing login flows such as OTP, QR login, and IVR through PingFederate.

  • Ensure robust integration with national and international authentication services.

  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance IAM solutions.

  • Lead complex technical initiatives and contribute to the overall IAM strategy and architecture.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues in distributed environments.

  • Contribute to the secure integration of new authentication methods and platforms into ABN AMRO’s infrastructure.
