IT Cutover & Transition Manager – ECCO Project
Location: Amsterdam (2–3 days on-site per week)
Business travel required:

Mission Overview:
The Cutover Manager will play a critical role in the ECCO project (Enhanced Cloud Control of Operations), a high-impact initiative replacing AF & KL Operation Control Center tools with a hybrid of SaaS and Azure-based internal applications. This role demands strong project and business analysis skills, excellent stakeholder coordination, and a track record in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Cutover Planning & Execution:
-
Define and finalize cutover specifications (exit criteria, workflows, synchronization, switches).

Coordinate development and cutover testing with AFKL Test Manager and Product Teams.

Lead rehearsal activities with the Business Cutover Lead.

Monitor and validate cutover synchronization with IT and business teams.

Stakeholder Coordination:
-
Act as liaison between AFKL IT, business users, and consumer IT teams.

Collaborate with multiple onshore and offshore teams (France, Netherlands, Morocco, India).

Ensure clear communication and vision sharing among all parties involved.

Project Support:

Act as BCP Sub-Project Manager, including organizing proof-of-concept sessions.

Manage risks and dependencies related to SaaS integration and legacy system transitions.

DCID (AF) – Cost-impact decision support

BOREAL (AF) – Operational data referential (future)

Team Composition:

KLM: 3 BAs, 1 PM
-
AF: 2 BAs, 8 Developers, 1 PM

Shared Roles: 2 Change Managers
Required Experience & Skills:
Professional Experience:
-
Minimum 10 years as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
-
Experience in large-scale IT transformations and SaaS integrations
-
Exposure to Operations Control Center (OCC) processes or aviation is a plus
Technical & Functional:
-
Project management and business analysis methodologies
-
Experience with SaaS platforms and Azure environments
-
Familiarity with OCC regulations or operational business processes
Soft Skills:

Strong stakeholder coordination and communication

Collaborative, agile mindset across distributed teams

Proactive tracking and follow-up of tasks and dependencies

Visionary yet detail-oriented; able to manage complexity and change
Additional Info:

Night shifts may be required during final cutover phases

Early meetings (from 09:00 LT) to align with Indian timezone teams
