About the Role @ Rabobank 
As a DevOps Azure Engineer, you play a crucial role in automating all relevant repetitive tasks.
You will engage closely with product squads to deliver highly available and scalable services to build automation scripts and frameworks to improve operational processes and procedures and to drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in tools & processes, to provide a seamless transition of the automation platform from the current supplier towards the internal platform, to build and deploy automation to manage repetitive operational tasks both in the cloud as well as on-premise environments.

What You Need to Know:
Proven Experience: At least five years of experience as DevOps Engineer
Experience with Azure: this is a must, nice to have experience with another cloud provider such as AWS or GCP
Infrastructure knowledge and experience with the Cloud area of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services,
Strong understanding of Networking concepts: VNet, Subnetting, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, etc.
Security concepts in Access Management, roles, and policies
Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana
CI/CD software Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins
Automation Tools knowledge: hands-on work with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) and Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Is a plus other tool such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Pulumi.
Programming language Proficiency: Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and the ability to write scripts without effort
Containerization Knowledge: Familiarity with containers, Docker, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes to optimize application deployment and scaling.
Open-Source Enthusiasm: A passion for working with, contributing to, and open-source technologies that drive innovation.
Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science to underpin your practical skills with a solid theoretical foundation.
