About the Role

As a Data Scientist within the Production Planning & Steering team, you’ll play a crucial role in contributing to strategic logistical objectives for 2025. This position is designed to temporarily fill an internal vacancy for approximately six months, ensuring continuity in high-priority projects related to next-day delivery and data platform migrations.

You'll work closely with stakeholders and other data professionals to explore, build, and deploy data-driven solutions, especially around operational optimization and infrastructure evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and support the team’s data engineering and science infrastructure.

• Contribute to the migration of internal platforms to Airflow.

• Conduct experiments and data-driven investigations within a logistical context.

• Assist in the development of business and technical metrics.

• Drive insights and actions related to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

• Independently manage and deliver projects with clear scopes.

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to quickly operationalize ideas.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in Operations Research (OR) techniques.

• Strong hands-on experience with Airflow and data engineering workflows.

• Proven ability to run experiments and analyze results, ideally in logistics or supply chain.

• Proficiency in defining and setting up business and tech KPIs/metrics.

• Familiarity with logistics and S&OP frameworks.

• Self-starter who thrives in autonomy and takes ownership of defined projects.

• Excellent communicator with a pragmatic and collaborative approach.
