This role is deeply embedded in the DCC, with a strong focus on database-related activities within the broader AFKL cloud engineering landscape @ KLM

🌍 Location & Work Setup

• Primary location: On-site at AMS – Point of View (PoV) building

• Hybrid model: ~50% remote / ~50% on-site

☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure Requirements

Cloud Vision & Leadership

• Able to lead design and architecture decisions

• Strong and broad expertise in cloud technologies

Must-have experience with:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Ansible

• Writing, maintaining, and updating scripts using these tools

Cloud Knowledge:

• Azure – required

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – preferred

• A cloud-agnostic mindset is a strong plus

Experience with key database services used at AFKL:

• PostgreSQL Flexible

• Oracle Exadata

• MongoDB Atlas

• CosmosDB

• CloudSQL

👤 Candidate Profile (Summary)

• Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong database focus

• Collaborative experience with IT Operations teams

• Comfortable supporting and enabling other teams

• Proven experience in large, complex organizations

• Strong technical documentation skills

• Availability: Preferably before May 1st
