SEO Manager

Copenhagen; Europe; London

Welcome to the video-first world

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work. If you’re reading this and nodding, check out our recent Synthesia 3.0 event.

Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale — until now….

Meet Synthesia 🚀

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communication platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s, and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 2,300+ people say on G2.

In 2023, we were one of seven European companies to reach unicorn status. In February 2024, G2 named us the fastest-growing company in the world. In 2025, we announced our Series D funding. In total, we’ve raised over $330M in funding from top-tier investors, including NEA, Atlassian Ventures, WiL, PSP Growth, and existing investors such as Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, GV, and top founders and operators from Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

About this role

We’re looking for a hands-on SEO Manager to join our Marketing team and help us strengthen Synthesia’s organic growth engine. This is a role for someone who loves experimentation, automation, and creativity as much as analytics, and who’s excited to work at the frontier of AI-driven search.

What's exciting about this job?

You’ll play a critical role in building the future of Synthesia’s organic growth engine, collaborating with smart, highly motivated peers. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, test bold ideas, and explore how AI and automation are reshaping search optimization. We move fast, value experimentation over theory, and encourage you to break the “SEO rulebook” when it leads to better outcomes.

How will your day-to-day look?

Managing end-to-end SEO initiatives — from developing off-page systems that drive high-quality links and mentions, to optimizing landing pages, automating workflows, and extracting insights from data to inform strategy. We move very fast and prefer doing > talking.

Imagine joining Airbnb, Stripe, or Figma — when they had product-market fit, but the world hadn’t completely realized it yet. That’s how early we are.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, spanning on-page, off-page, and technical.
  • Proven success in building scalable link and mention systems through outreach, creative campaigns, and partnerships.
  • Hands-on experience implementing automation tools (Airops, n8n, Zapier, Gumloop, or similar) to scale SEO processes.
  • Skilled in auditing and optimizing localized websites, improving performance and visibility across multi-language and geo-specific markets.
  • Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of UX/UI across both mobile and desktop.
  • Experience with measurement and reporting tools (Looker, GA4, HubSpot, or other BI tools) and the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action, thriving in fast-moving environments where doing > talking.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally, partnering with Product and the wider Marketing team to execute initiatives effectively.
  • Curious, adaptable, and deeply interested in how AI is transforming search — eager to experiment with new discovery channels, test what drives results, and push the boundaries of what SEO can achieve.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
