Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a curious, investigative, and technically oriented Analyst to join our IO Team.

In this role, you will research and understand external platforms such as SaaS providers, Identity Providers (IDPs), cloud platforms, and cybersecurity products in order to help expand our data collection.

Your work will focus on understanding how external systems expose data, identifying what information is valuable for our platform, and helping translate complex provider ecosystems into scalable internal structures.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to quickly understand new domains and concepts, and a genuine passion for uncovering how modern platforms and complex systems work. We’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, researching unfamiliar domains, and driving investigations end-to-end.

What you’ll do

• Platform & API Research: Research and understand external platforms, APIs, and data models to identify relevant data, capabilities, and integration opportunities.
• Feature & Pipeline Support: Actively support the development of data pipelines and product features by translating research into actionable internal structures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and product teams to support technical design and maximize data coverage.
• Documentation & Insight: Document findings, recommendations, and integration-related knowledge for the broader team.
• Ecosystem Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changes and trends across cloud, SaaS, identity, and security ecosystems.
• Independent Research & Discovery: Take ownership of research initiatives, investigate unfamiliar technologies, and build expertise in new domains to improve our understanding and coverage of external ecosystems.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a high-tech environment.
• Proven experience supporting data pipelines and product features.
• Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization) and proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, validate data quality, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and identify trends or insights.
• API & Data Modeling - Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and working directly with APIs and SaaS platform data.
• Analytical Mindset - Strong problem-solving skills with a fast, independent ability to research unfamiliar domains, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Bonus Skills

• Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), identity platforms, or enterprise SaaS products.
• Identity Concepts: Understanding of authentication and identity concepts.
• Data Infrastructure: Basic understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing.
