About the role
We are building a Partnerships team that will be a key growth engine within the Revenue organization at SurePay. We want to drive scalable growth by building strategic partnerships with third-party vendors who resell SurePay’s services to their customers. Strong partners act as a revenue multiplier by bringing in multiple clients over time. We currently have a lead partner manager who is focused on building a scalable and predictable partner model. We are now hiring a Partner Account Manager to support this next phase of growth.
As a Partner Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners. You will manage and grow existing partnerships by enabling partners through training, QBRs, and pipeline management. You will also own partner-sourced inbound deals, from qualification and contracting through to closing. You are accountable for both gross retention (maintaining existing partner revenue) and net retention (growing revenue via upsells, cross-sells, and new inbound business).
About you
We are looking for an energetic and pro active colleague that looks forward to picking up this challenge to make partner performance predictable, scalable, and revenue-generating. What you need:
- Around 2- 4 years experience in account or partnerships management roles in a SaaS environment, Fintech would be nice to have. Experience nurturing and growing relationships. Understanding of the role of partners in revenue generation.
- Communication skills: You are comfortable speaking in public (training) sessions. Active listening and presentation skills. You have the ability to clearly convey a message to different kinds of audiences in fluent English.
- Relationship management: You have a proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term partner relationships, focussed on growth.
- Commercial acumen: Ability to understand partners' role in revenue generation and leverage joint strategic goals to drive growth and profitability.
- Selfstarter: Comfortable working without detailed instructions, motivated to start and complete tasks or projects on your own and capable of navigating change and ambiguity.
- Collaborative: You happily work with others towards a common goal and see the benefit of involving others in your decision making.
