The Opportunity

As Business Analyst at SurePay, you’ll be the translator between our technical teams and real-world customer problems. You’ll gather insights, define what we need to build, and make sure we deliver the right solutions first time, every time.

This is a cross-functional, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders across the business. From improving fraud prevention tools to launching new features, you’ll help us shape the future of payments across Europe.

 

What you’ll do

• Turn ideas into reality. Lead the end-to-end requirements process from exploration and analysis to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own the details. Create clear technical specifications, API documentation, process flows, and diagrams.
• Bridge the gap. Translate complex business needs into actionable development tasks your tech team will love you for.
• Talk to real users. Interview customers, understand their journeys, and champion their voice inside the business.
• Test and validate. Use tools like Postman and Swagger to test APIs, ensure requirements are met, and help QA where needed.
• Deliver. Prioritise ruthlessly, keep teams aligned, and help us ship features that solve real problems.
• Collaborate across the board. Work with developers, product managers, customer success, and external partners.
• Drive innovation. Contribute to our fraud prevention roadmap and other mission-critical projects.
  
  

 

What we’re looking for

You need to be proactive, logical, and love a good puzzle. You ask the right questions, get to the core of the problem, and make things happen. Especially when things are ambiguous or fast-moving.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) in a SaaS, fintech, or software development environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of APIs and experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN
• Skilled at writing user stories and navigating agile product teams
• Strong communicator, collaborator, and facilitator
• Comfortable working in a scale-up environment with shifting priorities
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in software engineering or systems integration
• Experience mapping customer journeys or working with UX/UI teams
• Confidence in leading discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A “get-it-done” attitude, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
