As we scale, we’re looking for entrepreneurial and impact-driven talent to help us grow our client base, expand into new markets, and further our mission to prevent fraud and misdirected payments.

Your impact

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for the full commercial cycle – from initial contact to closing the deal. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and have the ability to convince clients of impact driven solutions. This role requires curiosity, courage, and a continuous learning mindset.

The main focus of this role is selling into medium and large corporates in the Netherlands. In the last quarter of 2025 and 2026 the scope is expected to expand to Europe. 

You’ll join a team operating at a high growth pace, where client expectations are high, and quality is prioritized over quantity. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a true solution seller and is ready for a steep learning curve.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full commercial cycle: from prospecting to deal closing
  • Work in a dynamic, fast growing B2B environment, coming from Years of 40%+ growth per year over the last couple of years
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline via outbound, inbound and partnerships
  • Understand client challenges and translate them into impactful solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, SDRs, CSMs, and leadership
  • Help shape solutions for new verticals and European expansion
  • Use HubSpot to manage pipeline, forecasting and workflows

How you’ll succeed

  • 2+ years of experience in a SaaS or FinTech AE role
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions to medium and large businesses
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Native-level Dutch and fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Experience with HubSpot is a bonus
  • HBO-level thinking and working ability (Bachelor's equivalent)
  • A driver’s license is a nice-to-have
  • Eager to learn and grow within a solution selling framework
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, complex environment

We work hybrid and the sales team comes into our Utrecht office 2–3 days per week. At SurePay, you’ll find an open and collaborative culture, quarterly team events, and plenty of opportunities for growth and development. We also offer:

  • On Target Earning (OTE) = between €90,000 – €115,000 (based on experience):
    • Competitive base salary between €50,000 – €75,000 per 
    • Incentive program of €40,000 per year

  • 25 holiday days annually (full-time)
