UK Sales MD
Super is disrupting the payments industry by making card payments and BNPL free for merchants. We are looking for a commercially astute sales leader to help drive our UK expansion, by leading and scaling our mid-market and enterprise sales function.
You will be responsible for developing and executing our UK sales strategy, directly managing a team of Account Executives, and leading by example in securing high-value, complex deals.
The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with a track record of selling value-based, money-saving software solutions into mid-cap and enterprise clients. Experience using the MEDDICC sales methodology is essential, as is the ability to coach and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the UK sales strategy aligned to company growth targets.
- Directly lead, coach, and grow a team of Account Executives selling into mid-cap and enterprise organisations.
- Implement and embed MEDDICC methodology across the sales function to drive consistency, accuracy, and deal progression.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and Marketing to refine value propositions and go-to-market strategy.
- Analyse sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy, fostering a high-performance, collaborative sales culture.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven track record as a sales leader, with significant experience selling to mid-cap and enterprise clients in the software or payments sector (or a similar industry focused on operational efficiency / cost-saving solutions).
- Strong people leadership experience having managed and scaled high-performing teams of Account Executives.
- Experience with MEDDICC (or MEDDPICC) methodology and embedding this within a sales organisation.
- Demonstrable success in value-based selling, coupled with the ability to articulate and quantify ROI, operational savings, and business benefits.
- Commercially astute, excellent negotiation, forecasting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal teams and merchant executives.
