Sports Quantitative Analyst Intern

In Superbet, we are looking for a Sports Quant Intern to join our quantitative team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced modelers and traders to research sports data, support the development of statistical models, and contribute to tools used in sports trading and market pricing.

This internship is an opportunity to apply mathematics, statistics, and programming to real-world sports markets while gaining exposure to quantitative research and trading operations.

What you will be doing

• Assist in researching sports data and statistical distributions used in sports modeling
• Support the development and testing of mathematical and statistical models
• Collect, clean, and analyse market and sports data
• Work with technical teams and traders to understand how models are used in practice
• Document findings and communicate insights to the team

We are looking for someone who

• Has a strong foundation in probability and statistics
• Has basic programming experience in Python (or similar languages such as R or Matlab)
• Is able to communicate technical ideas clearly
• Is motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have

• An interest in sports analytics or sports betting markets
