Workday Analyst (Configuration Focus)

In this exciting time of scaling our product and innovating the company, we are searching for a highly motivated and versatile Workday Administrator to join our HR Technology team. This pivotal role will be the primary technical expert for our Absence Management, Workday Help (Ticketing/Case Management), and Learning modules, ensuring these critical systems run smoothly, are configured optimally, and deliver an exceptional employee experience. What you'll be doing:
- Absence Management:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday Absence Plans, Accrual Definitions, Entitlement Calculations, and associated Business Processes (e.g., Take Time Off, Request Leave of Absence).
- Translate global and local leave policies into accurate Workday configurations, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Support the integration of Absence data with Payroll and Time Tracking.
- Workday Help & Case Management:
- Administer and enhance Workday Help, including the Knowledge Base (article management), Service Catalog, and Case Management configurations.
- Design and optimize intake forms, routing rules, and queues to streamline employee inquiries and improve resolution times.
- Train and support HR Help Desk agents on Workday Help functionality.
- Learning Management:
- Configure and maintain Learning content, courses, curricula, and certifications within Workday Learning.
- Manage learning assignments, enrollments, reporting, and integration with other talent modules.
- Support the creation and deployment of learning paths for employee development.
- System Support & Enhancement:
- Provide functional support for user inquiries and issues related to these modules.
- Participate in the planning, testing, and deployment of Workday bi-annual releases, assessing impact on owned modules.
- Develop and maintain custom reports (RaaS) and calculated fields specific to Absence, Help, and Learning.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and integrations.
We're looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Administrator or Functional Lead.
- Proven expertise in Workday Absence Management, including complex accrual calculations and business process configuration.
- Strong experience with Workday Help, including Knowledge Base, Service Catalog, and Case Management setup and administration.
- Solid understanding and experience with Workday Learning configuration and content management.
- Proficiency in Workday Business Process configuration, security, and reporting (RaaS, Calculated Fields).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on employee experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required to support global documentation and communication with cross-functional teams.
- Base in Zagreb, Croatia as this is a hybrid position
Bonus points for:
- Workday Pro certification in Absence, Learning, or HCM.
- Experience with other Workday modules (e.g., Time Tracking, Core HCM) and their interdependencies.
- Experience working in a global organization.
