Financial Accountant - Greek Entity

To support Superbet’s rapid growth and the launch of our newly licensed Greek entity, we are appointing a Financial Accountant to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting decision-making, and helping to shape the finance function of a high-growth business in a dynamic regulated industry.

Specifically, the Financial Accountant will have responsibilities across the following core pillars:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication skills and ability to work across functions and geographies
  • Has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
  • Has advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) preferred.
  • Is qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Has Gaming sector experience (is an advantage)
  • Has excellent Greek and English language skills (written and oral)

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain the general ledger.
  • Post and reconcile revenue files for online gaming activity.
  • Manage the month-end close process: journal postings, reconciliations, and analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of key accounts, including accounts payable, intercompany, and payment providers.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, timely documentation.
  • Monitor and improve financial processes, KPIs, and internal controls.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate across teams and cultures, building strong stakeholder relationships.
